SMART Mentoring

This page is for clinicians already accepted into the certification pathway who are ready to begin the mentoring phase of the pathway.  Mentees will have already completed the following pre-requisites:

• Submission of application and clinical license
• Completion of the 3-day Continuing Medical Education conference or, at minimum, Course 1 of the three online MGH Psychiatry Academy courses, Stress and the RR: Fundamentals
• Completion of an 8-week SMART class
• Completion of a 2-day Implementation Training

Mentoring consists of nine 1-hour sessions with a BHI clinician who will guide you during delivery of your first group.  Your clinician mentor will meet with you via Zoom or by phone for one week before the group begins and weekly during delivery to help you plan, answer any questions, work through any challenges and serve as your support during your first SMART group.
