* At end of the ramp, yield to crossing traffic at flashing traffic signal, then proceed straight
* At next traffic signal, turn left onto Cambridge Street
From the South via 1-93 via Storrow Drive:
* Take 1-93 north to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive)
* Follow signs to Storrow Drive (stay right)
* Take Storrow Drive west to Government Center exit (left exit)
* At end of the ramp, yield to crossing traffic at flashing traffic signal, then proceed straight
* At next traffic signal, turn left onto Cambridge Street
From the East via the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) via the Ted Williams Tunnel:
* Take I-90 west through the Ted Williams Tunnel)
* Follow I-90 west to Exit 24 (I-93 north)
* Take I-93 north to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive)
* Take Storrow Drive west to Government Center exit (left exit)
* At end of ramp, yield to crossing traffic at flashing traffic signal, then proceed straight
* At next traffic signal, turn left onto Cambridge Street
From the East via Route 1A via the Sumner Tunnel:
* Take Route 1A south (through the Sumner Tunnel)
* Follow signs to Storrow Drive (stay in right lane)
* Take Storrow Drive west to Government Center exit (left exit)
* At end of ramp, yield to crossing traffic at flashing traffic signal, then proceed straight
* At next traffic signal, turn left onto Cambridge Street
From the West via the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) via Storrow Drive:
* Take I-90 east to Exit 18 (Brighton/Cambridge)
* Follow signs to Cambridge/Somerville
* Turn right onto Storrow Drive eastbound to Downtown Boston
* Take Storrow Drive east to Government Center exit
* Follow signs to Downtown/Government Center (Cambridge Street)
From the West via the Massachusetts Turnpike (I-90) via I-93:
* Take I-90 east to Exit 24-B (I-93 North)
* Take I-93 north to Exit 26 (Storrow Drive)
* Follow signs to Storrow Drive (stay right)
* Take Storrow Drive west to Government Center exit (left exit)
* At end of ramp, yield to crossing traffic at flashing traffic signal, then proceed straight
The Institute is located a few blocks from the TD Banknorth Garden and North Station at the intersection of Lomasney Way, Causeway, Staniford and Merrimac Streets. Please keep in mind that typical backups on local streets begin about one hour before scheduled games or events at the TD Banknorth Garden.
